All this time spent perfecting color dithering, I started to wonder how applicable my rendering approach is to modern images. I dither per individual pixel and capture the effect of each pixel in the output where it is displayed. I stated to wonder then what if I approached the same process treating an RGB screen as a series of red, green and blue pixels.
