Janette Created, produced and co-hosted her own show called Lighten Up on the TV Food Network She was Hot Topics Writer on ABC’s The View where she earned her 6th Emmy award for Special Class Writing. She has a USA Today best seller to her credit called Breaking the Rules, Last Ditch Tactics for Landing the Man of Your Dreams (Career Press). Her latest book, Embracing Your Big Fat Ass (Atria) is humorous empowerment for women around the topic of body image. Janette has traveled with the aid group AmeriCares to the refugee camps in Albania during the war in Kosovo and traveled to the Republic of Congo with medical aid in the aftermath of civil war. Currently Janette is Ambassador at Large for Medical Missions For Children, a Massachusetts based non-profit which sends volunteer medical teams to third world countries to perform free surgeries on deformed children. Janette is proud to provide a voice for the extraordinary work that they do.
