Almost another year older soon and as I look back on the years, I realize that with age and as we all get older, we want our kids and grandkids all to think we were perfect, we dont want them to know any 0f the silly things that we did because than, they would all know that we were human and we make mistakes too.... I have mellowed out, grown up, now know that the stuff I did as a kid or when I was young could have got me into trouble, but I learned from all my mistakes and that is how I always knew what my kids and grandkids were thinking before they did it, lol. As you grow older you dont do any of that silly stuff anymore because you know better but it dont stop you from thinking about all of it... You actually can look back and laugh at all of that stuff and thank god that you did not ever get caught or your butt kicked.... Getting old is only fun when you can look back and laugh and say, I did that, boy were we lucky or what were we thinking???? Growing old is only fun when you can still remember the fun things you did and mentally still remain young at heart...
