Almost home from a very blessed weekend. When we were at the wedding we realized we were an hour away from Statue of Liberty. So we went to New York and got wore out. Statue of Liberty/Liberty Island, Ellis Islands, Battery Park, Grand Central Station, Subway riding, ferryboat riding, Time Square, and really one of the coolest things were, everywhere we went, there was some nice person to help us figure out how to do whats next. At Battery Park the officers suggested taking the 4 5 subway uptown to Miracle on 42nd St. I keep calling it that but its really only called 42nd St. Down at the Bowling Green boarding Dan and I spoke with another lady that worked for the transportation system...the really cool thing about this encounter was after we were done talking with her, Dan went and gave her a hope stone. The lady said shed been praying for hope all day...On the Subway a very nice lady told us how to visit Grand Central Station and she was awesome. On the ferry this older couple from Mexico City, Mexico were sitting next to me and I asked the husband if they were from NY, I was trying to get some direction. She spoke for him because her english was better, and the longer we sat the more we talked. She popped out a map, hes telling her how to tell me where things are. They were a very distinguished older couple and I told them they looked beautiful together..haha. You could just tell they loved each other very much and that was cool because we just came from a wedding where the Pastor was telling the newlyweds to always remember to date...Hear that Ed Fernandez...these folks were proof. They wasnt even celebrating a special occasion, they were there just enjoying each other. Well here are a few pics, I surely wish I knew we were going...I wouldve borrowed my daughters camera. Still I am not confused...I am blessed by the best. And the weekend isnt over....tonight at 6pm my sponsor is going to present me with a five year medallion and WE are going to celebrate. Any and all are welcome. Well be at 220 S Main St. New Carlisle, Oh...at the New Carlisle First United Methodist Church. Man, I cant thank God enough.
