Kat English, Les Miserables super fan I grew up listening to as many recordings of Les Mis as I could get my hands on. I have every published recording of it (all the Japanese, Spanish, Hungarian, original French demo casts, etc). Ive only been able to see the show 6 times, having seen the 25 ann. tour 5 times in one year. I travelled to see it every time, and would do it again in a heartbeat. I know the current London valjean (who was valjean in the tour), as well as many of the broadway cast and some who are travelling around the country in sit down productions of the show. Anyone who knows me who isnt into Les Mis knows not to bring it up around me if they dont want to hear about it for three days. Dont even mention the colors red or black, and never say one more day/one day more around me if they dont want to hear it. Ive read the book countless times, in a few different translations. I grew up living and breathing Les Mis. Whenever my dad would put on music in the house it would always be a Les Mis recording. My life goal is to stage manage Les Mis either on Broadway, West End, or a national or international touring company. Oh, and I run a tumblr that is solely Les Mis-pics, music, stories from early conceptions of the show, book passages, movies from before the musical existed. To say Im a superfan is an understatement.
