Alrighty! Replacement phone should be here tomorrow...on this handy dandy Google Chrome...situated and waiting for lil miss Sarah to come back from her afternoon session of therapy :-) Weve been at Riley a week as of today...I could tell the morning after arriving Sarah seemed so much more relaxed (not that the awesome folks at Methodist stressed her out, they were absolutely AWESOME! I think because it is more homey here. She wasnt posturing as much, her hands were relaxed, she just seemed more at ease. Therapy began immediately the day following our arrival, 2 sessions per day, 5 days a week and once on Saturday. They move her out of her bed, off the floor to the gym on the floor below us...physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy all give her a good workout. Sarah is tolerating all of this extremely well (her vitals looks great when they work with her). Her Dr. is going to change up some of her meds to try to get her off the ones that have a more sedative affect to them. We are here for at least 4 weeks, and depending on how Sarah responds, possibly longer... We miss our wonderful team back at Methodist but are extremely excited to see what our new team brings to the court here at Riley!!! Thanks to each and every one, as always, for thoughts, prayers, offers of help and encouragement, meals, gifts, everything...it is not unappreciated or taken for granted. You all are wonderful and I am proud of how supportive all our people (family) have been!!!
