Although Angela Renick, Julie Davila, Albert Luis Alvarez and many others have been ministering to the needs of the most vulnerable and kids in need in our local Community, it is now a newly recognized Ministry at The Family Church. It is an awesome ministry and meets needs of these kids in so many ways besides bringing the wonderful news of the Word of God. The people in this ministry are being the hands and feet of Yeshua in action according to his word in 1 John 3:16-18. (The Complete Jewish Bible) (16) The way that we have come to know love is through his having laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers! (17) If someone has worldly possessions and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how can he be loving God? (18) Children, let us love not with words and talk, but with actions and in reality! A lot of times the mission field is right in our back yard. From serving on the front lines, driving, to making calls or text reminders, picking up some food, etc. Whatever you are good at we can use you. Hope you be apart of taking the Good News to our community. If we want these children who come from mainly poverty backgrounds, to learn to be givers, we need to be the ones to teach them. We need to be the ones who are examples to them by sacrificing things in our lives, (Mainly our time) to give to them, so they in turn can take what we are teaching them to their family and friends where they are at.
