Although I am quite saddened how they use the term surplus spending vs deficit spending, I am amazed that we save up over 1 billion dollars in rainy day funds. I do think both sides on working on it, I hope that the G.A. considers cutting wasteful spending, while increasing spending on all forms of education, public works, and social programs and emergency responders. These areas in my opinion, get overlooked and perhaps we need to look at key ways to generate revenue to pay for and improve such programs.
