Am looking for photos of old ships that have plied the waters between Fiji and Rotuma carrying passengers and cargoes. The report I am complying is to look at the best vessel for Rotumas needs and future sustainable development. The report will also look at suitability and design of vessels especially safety standards, economics of operating a dedicated vessel, environmental and design issues with the berthing facilities in Rotuma. If you have any important information could you please inbox me and ill try and collect them whilst in Fiji till Jan 5th 2015. I hope to be in Rotuma by mid year to undertake further survey work. This work I am undertaking is independent of any government involvement but will look any past project deliveries and provide some practical and financial solutions in order to improve much needed transport for the people of Rotuma and future development needs for the island.
