Amazing how the 22month old girl I care for communicates very well with me and behaves better then her 6 year old brother. She does have her rough moments but when I stop her and say take a deep breath stop crying and talk to me and tell me what do you want or whats bothering you, she tells me with the words she knows and I reassure her it will be ok and love her with lots of hugs and dont over react because she was not acting good. Even little people want to be heard. Dont underestimate there wants and needs of little people. Give them independence and let them have choices and work as a team. Loving connection and firm discipline with out fueling anger and lots of communication work well unless you have a child that is spoiled and wants to controll everything and not do as you ask and gets agressive and says mean things to you. This 6year old and his parents needs serious prayers because I exhausted every method to get him to not be such a agressive and batd mouth kid toward me and his mother. The parents just dont seem to care and neither does the boy because they dont discipline him at all and he thinks hes boss of it all. The tough part is the dad knows there softies and lack discipline. Seriously time for change.
