An all powerful and all knowing deity, capable of creating the universe, could have picked multiple ways to demonstrate his extraordinary divine presence—where no mere mortal could it explain it away in our scientific and rational discourse. Instead God would rather place the most vague image on a moth that when inspected thoroughly enough, would look like anything you would want it to look like. Why would an all knowing God give us a sign that could be debunked by a toddler?
