An email from Chandra, Gabrielles mom: Dearest Friends, You have probably already heard that Gabrielle is in Heaven with her Lord whom she loved. Gabrielle was doing well after the surgery she even said her pain level was much better that night, until about 24 hours later when she had her first stroke. Even after placing a drain and a pressure monitor, she died of multiple strokes. We received the pathology report yesterday that, the tumor was a solid aggressive cancerous tumor. We knew the doctor suspected this already. He treated her with the greatest care and love and his heart is broken also. We have shared the Gospel with him, please pray for his salvation. While Gabrielle suffered for 16 months, it was always with a smile. Thank you for being her prayer warriors during this time. She had immense love and a wonderful spirit that brought light and joy wherever she was. We believe in a Sovereign God who knows all things we may not even understand, but we do know that his word says our days are numbered and we get no more. If 4-4-14 was her day, Im glad we, as her parents were able to know we had done everything and exhausted all options to get her the best healthcare, and FINALLY, a real diagnosis. I am despairing now, but I would have despaired more had she died in her sleep at home and Id known there was this one last option we could have tried. We thought we would come home with her out of pain, we found that Gods plan was to take her to her final home where there will never be any more pain. Shes sitting on the front porch swing of their mansion with her Grandpa Paul and worshipping the Father, Holy Spirit, and Jesus with Gramps. Gabrielle told us that someday when we had her funeral she wanted everyone to wear bright colors (she loved bright colors) and make it a celebration. We are thinking next Saturday might be when we celebrate her life because of all the children who will want to be there. I will let you know what we can work out. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord. We were so blessed by her life.
