An employee of the local power company asked to install a smart meter for my house. I asked, What if I refuse? He replied with, There will be additional monthly charges added to your bill aside from a $200 fee. Well, that doesnt sound fair for something that isnt broken right, I asked. His reply was, It doesnt make sense to me either but its my job to install these. All I need is a yes or no answer. So the employee knows it doesnt make sense to charge additional fees for something that isnt broken. Wow.
