An exceptional day on Saturday at Aston Martin Works as we once again hosted the annual Bonhams Aston Martin Sale. Some rare and amazing sports cars changed hands and we were happy to welcome more than 2,500 visitors to the site on what may very well have been the warmest day of the year so far. The sun shone as eager buyers filled the Modern Workshop-turned-saleroom to bid on more than 100 lots of Aston Martin automobilia and sports cars. Star of the show, literally perhaps, was the 1970 DBS Sports Saloon that featured in almost every episode of 70s show The Persuaders!. Signed by both Tony Curtis and Roger Moore, it came to the market for the first time in decades at Newport on Saturday and sold for £533,500. Thanks to everyone who came to see us on the day - and congratulations to the many happy new owners of Aston Martin sports cars.
