An extra £9,000 of Council money has been made available to organisations or individuals in Tyburn ward to support youth projects and opportunities. Councillor Mike Sharpe said: “Whilst parts of Tyburn are well served with youth provision, this cannot be said for other areas within the Ward. Over the past years we have received an excellent service from those providers we already work with. But this is an additional sum of money which it is hoped will make a real difference to our younger residents.” To apply for a share of the money, contact John Mole on 0121 464 8784. The deadline for applications is Friday 28th November, to allow applications to be considered as a matter of urgency, according to Councillor Sharpe, the Chair of Tyburn Ward Committee.
