An incident happened at The Fall Inn yesterday in the early evening that I do feel the need to address on Facebook as I know how rumors start and I want to nip this one in the bud. A group came in yesterday, one of which was a blind woman. Although she indicated that she wanted to sit at one of the bars tables (we had 2 open at the time), the man in her party wanted to sit in the dining room, so they did. When they ordered drinks from our server, he was angry that they would not be able to get Happy Hour prices in the dining room. When he was told that Happy Hour is only available in the bar, he stormed up to the bar and demanded to talk with the owner. Paul explained to him that it is our policy that Happy Hour is only a bar special and not available in the dining room, and pointed out that we did have tables available in the bar if they would like to move. The customer refused and accused The Fall Inn of discriminating against the disabled. He became very loud and disruptive. Paul told him that we would not change our policy and that he needed to calm down or leave the establishment. The customer then dialed 9-1-1 to report that The Fall Inn was discriminating against the disabled (yes, Im serious). To make sure that his call was responded to, he also said that he had just been assaulted by the owner, which, of course, he had not. When the sheriff responded, he quickly determined, after talking with Paul and with numerous of our customers that witnessed the entire event, that The Fall Inn was not discriminatory in any way and that Paul had not touched the individual - both claims by the angry customer were completely false. The sheriff then left. End of story. Anything you may hear that contradicts what I have stated here is simply not true and would be unfounded rumor. With that out of the way, our special today is our 12oz NY Strip w/ potato and roll for only $8.25! Hope to see you here!
