An unsung chapter of our history.... A young boy when asked by his teacher if you would be a member of the army of nawab Siraj Ud Dulla and one of the survivors after the battle of Palasy ...what would you do after the defeat of your nawab? The boy answered promptly sir i would join the army of lord Clive and would have tried to be close to him surprised teacher asked the boy to explain and he said i would learn from the british commander that how he had defeated a large army just with the help of few traitors and then i would have played the same trick to destroy him..... Sir, the traitors are everywhere..... it is necessary to achieve the freedom by any means then it wont be very tough to bring the traitors at the firing squad the teacher was speechless after listening to the teenager..... this young boy .....one of the self made revolutionaries of the world...Shri Rashbehari Bose.... after his various missions to achieve the freedom for his dear motherland reached Japan during the first world war.... gradually he established Indian Independence League and Indian National Army to fight the war of independence against the Allied forces..... By this time the age factor started to affect the warrior.... after experiencing a revolt form some few people in the army led by Gen Mohan Singh, Rash Behari Bose designed the constitution entirely in a new way....in the new constitution, the supreme power was given to one person..... the Supreme commander would be the head of both civil and military authority.... all the people associated with the IIL were with the opinion that Rashbehari Ji is now becoming a autocrat and grasping all the powers. The warrior then announced in a meeting that he would go to Bangkok to bring a gift for the Indians in South East Asia.... On this day, at the Cathey Hall in Singapore, he announced the gift.... SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE.... the undisputed young leader of India ...... Rashbehari gave the whole responsibility to the young man to lead the war of independence.... and he declared himself as a fellow soldier under the leader in the battle of independence. ..... all the people with the idea of autocracy then realised the intention of Rashbehari Bose.... On 4 July 1943, two days after reaching Singapore, Subhas Chandra Bose assumed the leadership of the IIL and the INA in a ceremony at Cathay Building. The young leader was welcomed by the song...Subhasji Subhashji woh jaan e Hind Aagaye.... Woh Nazz jispe Hind ko Woh Shaan e Hind Aagaye........Boses influence was notable. His appeal not only re-invigorated the fledgling INA, which previously consisted mainly of POWs, his appeals also touched a chord with the Indian expatriates in South Asia as local civilians, without caste, creed and religion- ranging from barristers, traders to plantation workers, including Khudabadi Sindhi Swarankar working as shop keepers – had no military experience joined the INA, doubled its troop strength. Our sincere tribute to the two warriors of the nation who fought selflessly for achieving the freedom for the motherland through out their lives. Today we remember all the unsung warriors of Indian national Army and all the Indians in South East Asia who took oath on this day and took part in the battle of independence. JAI HIND.......
