An update about Joanne, the German Karina. The medical professionals and child protective services folks are still not even considering that they are greatly harming Joanne. They have nothing to fear from the German legal system. Should Joanne die, there wont be any consequences. Already, she has suffered huge and most likely permanent damage to her health at the hands of her doctors. Its 2014 in Germany. A very sobering reality. Youd think that a country with Germanys history would have more of a conscience when it comes to euthanasia of the weak and sick. Not so. My heart breaks for this bright, beautiful and kind girl and her mother. Here are some excerpts from the official report: Since Joanne’s manifold and severe neurological, cardiologic, gastric and immunological symptoms worsen constantly this means in fact: they will keep her in hospital until she is dead. And her end might be quite near because they now plan to place her in a room with another girl on the ward. According to the doctors they want to “bring her back to a normal life”. The behaviour of all professionals involved in this case resembles a collective psychosis.
