An update for our all kind donors from around the world thanks to Social Media. On Thursday, 28 August 2014, our brave dialysis patient Leia turned seventeen (17). Even though her wish to celebrate her birthday with Victim Support was not realized due to her being hospitalized, President of Victim Support Mrs. Lina Chang and some of the staff brought her birthday cake to the hospital with well wishes from all our supporting partners, families and friends. With a smile to hide the pain, this brave young dialysis patient has got a fighting spirit. And it was her way of encouraging her parents and her supporters to continue to pray for her fight against the illness. Continuous financial donations from international donors as well as weekly donation from local donors were relayed to Leia’s parents to assist with her daily needs. SVSG President Mrs. Lina Chang acknowledges the ongoing support from the community for Leia and her family and appeals to the community to pray for her recovery.
