And one more thing you should know about the new Live Record….(this might even consist of sleeve notes) :). And thank you Paul Long for overseeing the BBC recording. I remember a producer friend of mine relaying how it took months to complete a live album…so much so that by the time theyd finished the only thing left from the night was the audience applause!. Well nothing like that has happened here; this is a caught in the moment, as it happened, honest recording made by the BBC, There are no edits, no fixes, no processing, no colouring..what you hear is what we played, raw and untampered. And as we largely avoid the concept of rehearsal and generally play what we feel in the moment this is an accurate recording of one particular nights performance by myself and the boys at Bluesfest 2013.
