Announcement from the St. Christopher Fund about December 2nd: You’ve heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but do you know about Giving Tuesday? There are 2 days this holiday season that concentrate on spending. Giving Tuesday is a day to concentrate on giving. For the first time, the St. Christopher Fund will be participating in #GivingTuesday; a social media movement to create a global moment dedicated to giving around the world. As part of this movement, the SCF is asking donors, supporters and beneficiaries to take photos with a sign saying why they support the SCF with our website, our app link, #UNselfie and #GivingTuesday and post to social media on December 2nd. In addition, the SCF launched a donation app: https://stchristopherfund.thegivingapp/ The app can be used on the computer or on a smartphone. Donors can “Quick Give” if they don’t want to set up an account. They may also register and donate once or set up reoccurring donations. Donations from our website truckersfund.org through PayPal will also be an option. The St. Christopher Fund is asking for support to help spread the word before December 2nd. Drivers: please ask your employers, family and friends to give on this day. Donors: give more and ask that others give as well! The SCF helps keep drivers on the road, in their homes, and to doctors. It’s time to take care of those that bring us all of our needs!
