Another Amosuns Planned looting exposed Exactly 2 weeks ago, Amosun wrote a letter to the Ogun State House of Assembly requesting for a resolution to borrow another #15bn. Because the House Leadership knows that it will be hard sell, they could not present that evil letter. Part of the house condition to pass the budget was to know the exposure/indebtedness of the state and the repayment plan before any other approval can be granted. So far so good, Amosun have not furnish the house with the details of our states indebtedness. Since the House leadership is afraid of brick wall for that request, this made Amosuns faction of the house to hold a meeting with him at the Government house to ask him what he was ready to part with before they can pass the request. He initially bluntly refused to part with anything but later offered #1mn to each legislator. Suraju, the speaker then asked him to make it #2mn each. The Governor conditionally agreed to this demand; #1mn before passage and #1mn after passage. And also gave them a plan B in case if it doesnt scale through. The plan B is that, some 9 trusted members who can form quorum will seat at the odd hour to amend the section of the law that requires 2/3 (two third) before such money lending resolution can pass to simple majority. The meeting ended with a parting gift of #200,000 each for the loyal legislators present. The question we should all ask Amosun and suraju is; if Amosun is sure that his latest money request is not outrageous, why does he have to go through unconventional route to amend that resolution??? This is a eye opener to us all. I want all well meaning and good people of the state to set their gaze on the members of Ogun State House Of Assembly. Some selected house members have been working in crime with Governor Amosun to loot this state dry. They have been getting a kickbacks from every loan taken by the govt, theyve been the only parasite urging Amosun to keep milking us dry. But lets ask again if Ogun state is truly broke? We get over #7bn monthly from Abuja as federal allocation and another #4bn as our IGR. What is truly happening to our finance in Ogun??? After #200bn loans already taken by Amosuns govt, 2014 seems to be a continuation of this mad rush to loot. Raise ur voice today. Say no further loan taking in Ogun state.
