Another beautiful day in the Ozarks with lots of sunshine and perfect temperatures; however, that is all about to change. Expect some heavier fog this evening into the morning hours, so plan accordingly with your morning commute tomorrow. As the day progresses there is a chance for showers and thunderstorms to develop as a front moves through; however, they are not expected to be severe at this time. The big change seems to take place Friday into Saturday as a major cold front moves into the area and with it the possibility of severe thunderstorms on the leading edge of the front. Here is the latest from the National Weather Service. We will keep you posted as the cold front approaches!!! FOG WILL REDEVELOP TONIGHT ACROSS THE AREA WITH MOST OF THE AREA SEEING VISIBILITIES DOWN TO AROUND A MILE AT TIMES. THE LOWEST VISIBILITIES WILL BE ALONG THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE OZARK PLATEAU WHERE WHERE VISIBILITIES MAY DROP DOWN TO A HALF A MILE AT TIMES. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AT TIMES WEDNESDAY AS A WEAK UPPER LEVEL LOW MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BRING A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY SATURDAY. SOME STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG THE FRONT FRIDAY NIGHT ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND MARGINAL SEVERE HAIL THE MAIN POTENTIAL HAZARD.
