Another of my little rants: I certainly believe there is an energy shift happening - and I suspect you all know this about me already! I have been cogitating social media and how we all may sometimes write and post things without thinking it through. Therefore, I am going to be careful what I write and also be reading carefully comments I receive and ask people to be respectful even when being critical. We can say when we dont like something, be humorous or scathing, but I do not wish to have mean, nasty or offensive comments showing up. I will not remove anyone without first having some sort of dialogue, but I have been accepting friendships from many people without being overly cautious. I prefer transparency, which is why I put most of what I do into the public realm. Nevertheless, I do not wish to have any offensive comments associated with my Facebook page from now on. Debate, by all means, but being hateful or insulting or aggressive will no longer be permitted. I believe we are ALL the result of our upbringing and our social culture, which sometimes means we say or do things without thinking. I am trying to change myself from having knee-jerk responses, and appreciate it when someone tells me so. I hope you can all understand what I am trying to achieve here. It is not about lovey dovey fake peace and harmony, but it is about being civil and courteous whilst still trying to change those things we find abhorrent or objectionable. Thank you for reading!
