Another opportunity for QC Non-profits from the local chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals! Thanks for passing this along, Linda! --- Over the summer, the Quad City Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) conducted a focus group of local non-profit CEOs to learn what needs exist in the community in terms of fundraising knowledge and encouraging professionals to enter and remain in the profession. Led by a blue ribbon panel of Steve Bahls, Frank Klipsch, Ed Rogalski, and Rick Seidler, the following survey emerged from those conversations. AFP offers a FREE mentoring program to new professionals in the Quad Cities. In response to the focus groups, we are considering expanding that program to include non-professionals who want to enter the field. We also want to gauge interest among other fundraisers in the community. As a separate project, I will send out a second survey about offering more advanced and deeper training, kind of a "200-level" program as a new offering. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. Even if you are not interested in the mentoring program, it will give us a good look at the need in the community. You can access the survey here: https://surveymonkey/s.aspx?sm=bh08WKpapojspYfqtesj2g_3d_3d This link is uniquely tied to this survey and your email address. Please do not forward this message. However, if you know someone who might be interested in this program, please ask them to use this link to access the survey directly: https://surveymonkey/s/AFPMentoringProgram Thank you for your participation! We appreciate the input. If you would like more information about the Quad Cities Chapter of AFP, please visit us at afpquadcities/.
