Another two weeks and some nice fish caught but at times it has been difficult. The three lads fishing the lake from the 30th of August had it the toughest but there were spells of activity that produced some nice thirties including a 34lb common and mirrors to over 37lb. The open water produced all the bites and simple boilie fishing was the going method. Altogether there were around 18 runs for the 3 lads with nothing lost. Last week started in the same vain and with five on the lake it proved to be difficult again. It wasnt until tuesday night when things really kicked of with onen angler catching a run of fish through the night including two thirties of 31,36 a 26 and a 41, all mirrors. The were also other fish caught around the lake to over 31lb. Three of the fisherman had to leave on the wednesday so it was down to just two. The action heated up and regular fish were caught by both anglers with the biggest being a 43lb 12 oz mirror. There were 25 runs in total for the week.
