Anybody care to go to Esotericville for a few minutes? There is a Bible verse that says The power of life and death is in the tongue. Ive pondered it for years. Ive never been able to shake it. I thought a lot this past week about choosing my words carefully. That I would do my best to bless people, not curse them. That I would speak life and encouragement to them, rather than discouragement. That I would choose to build others up instead of putting them down. And that I would also be conscious of this whenever I speak about myself. Watch the video. I wish I had a way to perform this test. If there is any truth to it, and if we are mostly composed of water, then what effect are our words having on ourselves? What effect are they having on others? Furthermore, its interesting to me when people say, I would appreciate your prayers, or if you dont believe in prayer, that you would at least send me your positive thoughts. My gut says that theyre one-in-the-same, except that positive thoughts arent willing to give the Creator the credit that Hes due, but He chooses to act on their behalf anyway because He simply loves and love without measure. Either way, I want to get better and better about choosing my words carefully, and I hope youll think about that, too. Alright now, either agree with me, or let me have it! But, choose your words carefully if its the latter. ;-)
