Anybody else see this? US 30 Voluntary Paid Surveys & Roadblock? The person that wrote this said his information was never published in any NWI news: Date: Sunday, September 22, 2013 Subject: Us 30 roadblock for DNA tests and??? To: newstips@nwi This morning at 3am I was going west on US 30 and right at Burr st. was a Police road block with a sign stating VOLUNTARY PAID SURVEY. The police were in uniform with there emergency lights on. They were instructing drivers to pull into the Walgreens/ subway parking lot. As we were in line we were instructed to follow the car in front of us into the parking lot. We chose NOT to and turned on Burr and went home. Come to find out these VOLUNTARY PAID SURVEYS give you $10.00 for a DNA sample or $50.00 for a blood sample??? Along with Im sure sobriety test etc..... If these are VOLUNTARY done by OFF DUTY police why are they blocking a US hwy, in uniform Instructing drivers where to go and in police cars with the emergency lights on? This fools most people to think this is actual police instructing them to listen. We were not told anything but FOLLOW THE CAR IN FRONT OF US INTO THE PARKING LOT! If your newspaper is as good as I think you will run with this story! Its a huge violation of our freedom! You can google police road blocks voluntary paid survey and read lots of other posts about this including a CNN story..... You must question this! You as the press represent our freedom!
