Anyone remember Iselys (sp ?) it was an ICECREAM SHOP back in the day...they had one location across the Mansfield Public Library and a second one on Lexington Ave. on the east side of the street just past the point where Lexington Ave. continues out past Cook road and beyond and the split off road heading to the left ( cannot for the life of me remember the name of that road to save my ass !!! ) SAD 😢 because I think that there are 4 roads that branch off of that road . . . one of them leads to Prospect Park ( which I also dont recall the name of that street that back in the day I walked on that street a gazillion times on my way to Prospect Park ! But the really pathetic thing is that our family lived at 54 West Raughlie (sp ?) and that was the last road that you could turn off of that main road that I cannot for the life of me remember?👎? the name of ??? Before it led into a dead end. our family lived there until I think 1968 when I was 8 years old. at the east end of West Raughlie there was a small corner grocery store that faced Main St. ??? Where it forked off onto RT. 13 that headed toward the entrance ramp that put you on interstate highway # 71 going to Columbus ...RT. 13 went under the interstate highway and continued on down to Bellville (sp ?) Anyone out there that could let me know the names of those roads ??? P.S. my favorite flavor of Isellys icecream was ......Drum roll please !!!!! The flavor of my all time favorite and very popular icecream was the infamous green colored mint chocolate chip ! 👍😄👍😄👍😄👍
