Anyone who says increased CO2 in the atmosphere is a good thing for plant life on Earth seriously needs to watch this video. Increased CO2 upsets the balance of nutrients in the soil, making it harder for plants to take root, and letting them grow in a less nourished form. The CO2 also absorbs warmth and creates an environment beneficial to parasites that feed off the plants, meaning more plants and leaf get consumed before they have reached maturity. And if the whole planets atmosphere is high in CO2 of course, the whole planet will be warmer, sea levels will rise, and land will flood and become devastated, which is also not going to have a happy effect for plant life in the areas affected either.
