Apparently Fall and Winter are having some territorial issues in Middle Georgia. As a public service announcement I will share the recipe I use for hot chocolate for my family, which is done in ratios and unmeasured amounts, but never disappoints. Decide how much your need (a mug full, four mugs full, etc.) Combine equal parts whole milk and 1/2 and 1/2 Heat in the microwave until warm but not too hot to drink (or do the same on your cooktop) Add unbelievable amounts of Ovaltine, Nestles hot chocolate mix, whatever type your family prefers. Taste as you add until you get the rich taste that makes you say, I love cold weather Warm slightly if needed. Serve up immediately. Do not skimp and use skim milk. That is not what hot chocolate is about. Instant hot chocolate made with water is just a waste of a water. Go for the real stuff.
