“Appearance and Reality” is a short animation movie created by Elena Rogova and Zhenia Pavlenko. Elena Rogova graduated Faculty of Painting and Graphics in Moscow State Teachers College. She studied animation from 1994 at Pilot studio, where later worked as animator and director (Mike, Lu & Og) From 2000 worked in Hungary at Varga Studio and Studio Baestarts as director, storyboard and layout artist (Mr.Bean, Bosom Pals, Lorange, Muffin and Dartanjang, Pettson&Findus, Toot&Puddle, Mamma Moo&Crow.) This is her second short which was made at Amix Film Studio where she is currently working. Zhenia Pavlenko graduated Faculty of Painting and Graphics in Odessa State Teachers College (Ukraine). From 1993 he studied animation at Pilot studio in Moscow, where later worked as production manager (Mike, Lu & Og) From 2000 worked in Hungary at Varga Studio and Studio Baestarts as director, layout artist, production manager, animation producer (Mr.Bean, Bosom Pals, Lorange, Muffin and Dartanjang, Pettson&Findus, Toot&Puddle, Mamma Moo&Crow) On Amix Film Studio, where he is currently working, he co-directed this short.
