Apple #2459-- LEFT BEHIND !!NEEDS A HOME NOW HEMPSTEAD ANIMAL SHELTER My name is Apple! I am sweet and delicious! I came to the shelter in September 2013 as a stray. I was so underweight and hungry when I arrived. My skin was covered in fly bites and I was missing hair. It looks as if I had been kept outdoors my whole life and sadly neglected. The loving shelter staff and volunteers have fed me delicious meals, treated my skin and gave me all the vaccinations I need to be healthy. I was spayed and I even got a microchip! Now that I am feeling better I am anxious to find a loving home to call my own. I crave a cozy blanket and maybe a couch if you will let me to lounge on. I love people so much and run to the front of the kennel to see them. Everyday I wish that I will be the one to be chosen...but sadly, my new family hasnt found me yet. But I wait, hope and pray everyday that my chance will come soon. I wish to be your only canine friend and have so much love to share that I promise you wont need anyone else.
