Applications for the next Certified Nurses Assistants class will be at Hylond Merced on M street @ 0900 sharp. The LINE MUST BE formed OUTSIDE the door to the left of the main entrance there is a student entrance sign on it (if you are sitting in the building you WILL NOT BE GIVEN AN APPLICATION since the instructions were ignored!!! No Exceptions.) handing out 50 applications & the line starts VERY early before I even get there so be there early if you are seriously interested. No class start date as if yet putting the new calendar together this week. But info Classes are Monday thru Friday 0700-1500 no absences allowed in the first 21 days dropped after a third tardy must maintain a 75% or higher on daily quizzes dropped after a third low quiz score. Can not have any felony convictions including DUI all convictions need to be expunged before taking the course, must be 18 years of age. The course is free we provide the TB skin test but if you had a reaction in the past the student must get a chest x-ray before they can start patient care, students are required to wear all white uniforms (not provided) including white shoes, socks & under ware. All tattoos & body piercings must be covered (only 1 post in each ear is allowed) no dangling jewelry that can be pulled out or yanked on. Hair must be off the neck & collar. Books and reading material loaned by the class to be purchased if wanted or damaged. The class is 33 days and intense. Rules are strict but it can be a fun & rewarding class. Again free CNA Course applications are going to be handed out by me August 1st at 0900 sharp.
