Arctic is by Airdrie Apache, the worlds leading sire of colored Thoroughbreds, and is out of Club Car Lady who is a true (out of the same dam) half sister to champion 3 year old colt and over 4 million dollar earner Silver Charm who won the Kentucky Derby and Preakness stakes and was denied the Triple Crown when he was beaten only 3/4 of a length in the Belmont stakes in 1997. Arctic is a half brother to 2 winners from 3 foals to race, and also has half siblings competing successfully as show jumpers and dressage horses. Arctic is a beautiful base black, dominant white stallion with excellent balance and conformation, beautiful movement, and a disposition that cant be beat. His first foals arrived in 2014 and we couldnt be happier with them! The current foals show outstanding potential as eventers, dressage horses, race horses and hunters, but Arctic would also make a very nice sire of polo prospects, ranch and pleasure horses, and prospects for western disciplines if crossed on stock type mares. Arctic will only be bred to 10 Thoroughbred mares in 2015, so reserve your space early! He will be bred to an unlimited number of non-Thoroughbre d mares via either live cover or shipped semen. His foals are suitable for almost any discipline both english and western. Arctic is dual registered with both the Jockey Club and APHA. His Thoroughbred foals will be registerable as both Thoroughbreds and Paints and will be able to be raced or shown as both Thoroughbreds and Paints, and his non-Thoroughbre d foals will be able to be registered, raced and/or shown according to the registration status of their dams. He will cross well on many types and breeds of mare. 2015 Thoroughbred fee $1000, non-Thoroughbre d fee $800. Multiple mare discounts available. You can see pictures of Arctics foals on our web page under foals and also horses for sale.
