Are we really heros or pawns. In the 60s and 70.s we were treated like crap. We didnt trust the government and it took clost to 40 years before people started welcoming us home and thanking us for our service. We came out of our shells went to the VA applied for benefits and in most cases were awarded1 what we should have been receiving when we got out of the military. I got my reward and things have gone pretty good for the past couple of years. Friday we put in a bid for a house. Something we hadnt been able to afford for 40 years of marriage. Saturday I get a letter from the VA cutting my benefits in half. Tomorrow I will go to see why they did this. it has really messed up my mind and PTSD, panic attacks. Please pray for me and my family.
