Exciting, varied and challenging opportunity to work with Dr. Gil Melmed in a newly established position to design, implement and support new clinical/research programs within the Cedars-Sinai IBD Center, and to enhance the quality of care delivered to patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease. This program features speciality clinics to provide a broader spectrum of services to our patients. Candidate will develop programmatic operating procedures in collaboration with the Clinical Care and Clinical Research teams to provide an exceptional patient-focused experience. Innovative clinical progams which this candidate will oversee also include quality improvement initiatives that are local and/or national in scope and may require occasional travel. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient with all MS Office applications, manage complex scheduling, interact with patients and coordinate with the care teams. As a team player, work as a focal point for several providers, research and clinical professionals. Track and collate pre- and post-visit metrics from participating and referring providers, patients and trainees. Coordinate teleconferences, meetings. Participate in the preparation of grant submissions and reporting.
