Are you attending this years Teacher conference on 18 October? Alan Bullard, author of the award winning Joining the dots series will be contributing to The art of interpretation and ownership of the score session with Anthony Williams. Alan says: I’ve been to several of the ABRSM Teacher conferences, and they are always a great opportunity to learn and exchange ideas, both from the presenters and the delegates! I’m particularly excited this year to be helping Anthony Williams (alongside bassoonist and composer Sarah Watts) in his session which will include the first performance by Sarah and I of two specially written short pieces that weve written for each other – which we will see for the first time during the session – with a discussion of the interpretational possibilities. No pressure there, then!
