Armando Liberato helps Great Valley Patriots JV- 2014 down Oxford 7-4 Armando Liberato drove in three runs, helping Great Valley Patriots JV- 2014 to a 7-4 victory over Oxford on Thursday at Oxford HS JV Field. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning. Jack Talley brought the heat against Oxford during his outing. Oxford managed just two hits off of Talley, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his 4 2/3 innings of work. Stefanosky ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in 5 1/3 innings, walked seven and struck out 10. Great Valley Patriots JV- 2014 went up for good in the second, scoring three runs on an RBI single by Jack. After posting two runs in the fourth, Great Valley Patriots JV- 2014 again scored two in the sixth. In the fourth, Great Valley Patriots JV- 2014 scored on a steal of home, bringing home Dylan Spiker. After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fifth, Oxford faced just a 5-1 deficit. A groundout by Moran triggered Oxfords comeback. Finally, Ryan Dailey got Hillaman to strike out to end the threat. After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the seventh, Oxford faced just a 7-4 deficit. An error, an RBI double by Tomasulo, and an RBI triple by Hillaman fueled Oxfords comeback. Ryan ended the game by getting Kiebler to ground out.
