Army Adventure Challenge Cup inaugurated AALO, DEC 14 The opening ceremony of Army Adventure Challenge cup was held at Community Hall Yingkiong yesterday, Major General Sumit Srivastava lit the lamp of opening ceremony as the Chief Guest. Alo Libang, MLA and Yingkiong Superintendent of Police also witnessed the ceremony and cultural program performed by students and local cultural groups to mark the occasion. Major General Srivastava stressed on Army Civil mutual camaraderie and expressed his gratitude to local Administration, school students and locals of Yinkiong for making the event a success. Army Adventure Challenge Cup comprises of three very challenging sporting events of Hill Cycle, Hill Cycle Running and White Water Rafting is scheduled from 15th to 20th December 2014. Altogether 12 teams from army will be participating in the six days long adventure sports extravaganza on good will mission.
