Artemis here… When Melinda R. (The Invincible M.O.M.) first started training with me 4 years ago in November 2010, she had been diagnosed with diastasis recti after giving birth to her third child and she started out training with 10lb kettlebells and she was not able to do a bodyweight pull-up. After consistent training, she achieved her first pull-up in December 2012. In August 2013 she was wavering between 3 and 5 pull-ups. Today she crushed a set of 6 STRONG pull-ups and 2 more sets of 5 to follow AND pressed the 20kg (44lbs) kettlebell both right and left AND then finished off her session with 5 sets of push presses and double bell swings with double 18kg (total 80lbs) kettlebells. Attached is a video of her pull-ups from last summer and from today. Melinda turned 40 this past December 2013 and she is a testament that women can love their post baby body and what it can do!
