Arts Alliance Presents Meet the Artists Location: Waldorf West Library Date: 3/22/2014 Time: 2 PM Duration: 02:00 The Charles County Arts Alliance is presenting the first Meet the Artists Public Reception of 2014 on Saturday, March 22, at the Waldorf West Library, located at 10405 ODonnell Place Waldorf, Maryland. The reception takes place from 2:00 - 4:00 pm in the main gallery located on the first floor. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public. The Charles County Arts Alliance manages four separate gallery spaces year-round on two floors of the Waldorf West Library, in partnership with the Charles County Public Library. The current multimedia exhibit is the fifth art exhibit to be presented by the Arts Alliance since the Waldorf West Library opened in November 2012. The exhibit runs from January 3 to March 28, 2014, and the theme is Artists Choice. The multimedia exhibition includes 32 pieces of art from the following 19 artists: Theresa Alo, Cindi Barnhart, Patricia Biles, Erin Doyle, Cecelia Dunay, Gale Euchner, Don Faust, Jo Ann Gilhooly, Kylus Harris, Lorina Harris, Ingrid Hayes, Josh Hettel, Gordon Johnson, Belinda Keller, Vicki Marckel, Jamie Oliver, Rebecca Polis, Annabel Lee Russell and Ashley Saldana. Founded in 1987, the mission of the Charles County Arts Alliance is to stimulate, promote, encourage and provide recognition of the arts and the creative spirit in Charles County, Maryland. The CCAA promotes all the arts: music, visual art, drama, dance and literature.
