...As I am at work, the Lord dropped something in my spirit concerning deliverance. He said that no matter what sin, habit, problem, or situation that anyone is in....He has power and is able to give them a FULL & COMPLETE deliverance from it. Deliverance means to save from a danger....but He said....once you are given total deliverance...it is YOUR responsibility to KEEP your deliverance He has given you, then gave me this analogy. He said to me that if someone is inside a house that has caught fire and have no way out (like many who are in sin and other situations are)....someone will call the firefighter (Jesus, the deliverer) in to rescue them from the danger....He comes in and saves you from the fire and brings you out and sets you in a place of renewed life bc you were on the way to death a few moments prior....NOW here is where YOU come in....the firefighter has given you another chance to have life again and you have two choices....a person that wants to live will thank the firefighter for saving them and will then remove EVERYTHING that reminds them of the fire...they change their damaged clothes and put on new clothes...and they wash their bodies to remove the smoke and stinch from their skin.....and when they are seen NO ONE will even know what they have been saved from unless that person volunteers to tell them bc there will be no trace of smoke on them....but then a person that calls the firefighter and says they want life gets delivered/saved from the burning fire...goes back into the fire a second time...now that person has a dilema...the firefighter has NO OBLIGATION to go and get again...BUT He could have mercy on them and bring them out again...and a third time, and a fourth time...BUT He said there will reach a point....that the firefighter stops going in to get them NOT bc He is tired of going in after them...but bc He sees that though the person said they want life....their actions are saying they really want death....so therefore He gives them over to the fire bc it is what THEY REALLY WANT...and He will lament over the loss of that person....but will not force that person to have a new life that they really didnt want. So it is with Jesus Christ....people of God...He knows the intent and thoughts of our heart...and we should not play games with His mercy. If He brings you out of anything that put you in danger of death whether physical and/or spiritual....you need to appreciate it and not go back into it bc you dont know when He will give over to the desire of your heart and ignore the words of your mouth!
