As I focus on Teshuvah, I can see that making choices based on what God wants of me NOW is a useful avenue to somehow try and repay those who have died to whom I owe a debt. My struggle, this season, as in seasons past, is to recognize the blessing of those who have died that I need to forgive. The not asking seems to be a missing piece for me that I wrestle with. It does occur to me that I very well may not be seeing the apology offered, and so I go into the season asking God for clearer vision, and sharper awareness of my blessings. I work so that the wounds I wear become strength and not scars. They become faith instead of fear. Today I will work on strength and faith. Today, I will give it my all, or give it to God.
