As I get older, it seems like the New Years Days come faster and faster. Im not totally sure why that is, but like the old saying, Time flies when youre having fun. may be appropriate. My body would probably not say its been fun, as now Im in a fight with diabetes, too. I have been fighting and arguing with the scales for a few years now, and although its not going fast, it is moving in the right direction. I wanted to read through the whole Bible in a year, but have gotten a bit bogged down in spots because of interest and desire to camp in different areas as I was reading and re-reading passages. Its been an amazing trip through the Old Testament, seeing how God dealt with His people, as well as, those who were against them. Im one of those people who wants to find something in each chapter that I can apply to my own life, or a hunger for God to show me something that I can use in my life or ministry. So its been a good year, but a fast year, too, as our kids moved away from Michigan, which was tough on us, but I think good for them. I look forward to 2015 and what God has planned for us. I just want to be available for whatever He wants for us and be obedient to Him. I pray your 2015 will be filled with blessings, the ones that are right in front of you and the ones you have to look for and find. I dont pray that life will be easy, but that it will be good and solid and find you dependent on Him. Maybe this will be the year that Jesus will come back, so make sure youre ready. Live each day to its fullest and no matter what, 2015 will be your best year yet!
