As I lay here this morning thinking about our upcoming appt this morning for our baby girls, I feel so much better today then I did Tuesday about the situation. We have joined some groups on FB for TTTS, we feel so much more informed from these groups ( which are parents, just like us who have went down this same road) and of course we have done some of our own research! I know honestly in my heart it is all going to be okay! We are prepared for what ever news we get today... It will either be everything still looks the same the babies are in the start of TTTS or what stage of TTTS we may be in. Depending on what stage we are in depends on what treatment! From what I have read and what I have had explained to me TTTS is twin to twin transfusion syndrome. Which is a complication in pregnancy where 2 or more babies are expected. Our babies are identical and share a placenta. Unequal distribution of blood between babies result in differences in there growth in development. There is 2 different process they can do to fix this depending on what stage. All we ask is for the continued prayers. We are so thankful for each and everyone of our friends and family. God is in control!!
