As I reflect on 2014, I must say thank you to the state of New York. Thank you for using your tax money to provide social programs (including Medicaid) to help our veterans. Ill never regret driving Stan up to New York because he got the medical and rehabilitative help that Florida refused to give him for almost a year. When a veteran goes to the hospital repeatedly for the same problem and gets told each time that the state cant help, you know the systems broken. Florida should make it a New Years resolution to increase their funding for veteran social programs....its not like we really need to waste money on planting palm trees on interstates anyway
