As I sit here and watch the CrossFit Games I am in awe of the coaching staff we have under our roof at RSCF! - Andrew Chicoine comes from a long time background in the health and fitness industry with a passion for helping people live a healthy lifestyle. He is the mastermind behind the programming at RSCF that pushes our athletes daily while still keeping classes interesting...yall know his crazy sense of humor haha! Along with owning and building a business, he still makes time to be a caring coach, boss, friend, and amazing husband, son, brother, fur baby daddy...and soon to be daddy. He has competed at the South Central Regionals on Team RSCF the last 2 years and has no plans to stop training to reach his full potential and too keep his athletes motivated and proud of their coach. - Mike Cazayoux was part of Hacks Pack UTE team the last 3 years and won the Affiliate Cup in 2012 and 2013 with his team. He has been part of the RSCF family and head coach of Bruce Barbell for over a year now but will be moving back to Utah soon to work alongside Tommy Hackenbruck (Games athlete and former team mate on Hacks Pack UTE team). He has programmed for our top athletes since post regionals in 2013 as well as many of the top athletes in the state of Louisiana. Mike will continue to program for RSCF eventhough he will be so far away. His knowledge of the sport is unreal. Right now he is at the games coaching his 2 teams who both are on the top of the leaderboard...NorCal CrossFit and CrossFit The Club. We will miss him but know it isnt good bye. He will be back to visit RCSF especially since his dad and sister are RSCF athletes. - Matt Bruce...what can you not say about The Bruce? He has been coaching under the roof of RSCF for almost 2 years and is head coach and founder of Bruce Barbell. He holds many Olympic Weightlifting titles and was a member of Team USA. He worked with Coach Hatch for 15+ years. Matt is now part of the CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Course team and has helped develop the new Advanced Weightlifting Course. He has traveled with CrossFit around the South America region coaching the Oly seminars over the last year and will begin traveling with Chad Vaughn to coach the new advanced course. Wow that is a whole lot of knowledge and heart for the sport under one roof and thats only 3 of our coaches!!! Im so proud of our team at RSCF! Their #1 goal is to see all of our athletes progress. The athletes are what keeps them motivated to train hard along with their love of the sport.
