As I sit here, recuperating from yesterdays Relay for Life, I wanted to share something that a lot of my FB friends do not know about me. I received the award for most laps walked by an individual!!! I am old, out of shape and carrying too much extra weight, but I dont give-up easily and dont feel sorry for myself. When it is important to me, I keep going no matter how difficult. Now, my husband won the award for most laps walked by a survivor (for the 2nd year in a row) and actually walked 2.5 more miles that I did. Competitive SOB. Next year, hes going down!!! ;)
