As an indigene of Ekiti, I believe Im in a right position to pass - TopicsExpress

As an indigene of Ekiti, I believe Im in a right position to pass comment on the governorship election that took place on June 21st, 2014. Though the election has come and gone but its outcomes will continue to linger in the political space of the state in particular and Nigeria as a whole. Firstly, the outcome, to me, shows that Ekiti people are politically not dynamic. Secondly, even with their claim of education as an industry the outcome of the election shows that there is a wide gap between been educated and been enlightend. Thirdly, it entrenched my aversion for democracy as a government of the majority fools, in which their opinion is paramount. I said when Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was voted as President in 2011, base ethnic and religion sentiments, that Nigerians should be ready to recieve the greatest shocker of their lives, and that what that shocker was going to be I dont know. Though Im not a prophet of doom, but with the emergence of Peter Ayodele Fayose as the governor of Ekiti, the people of Ekiti should prepare to recieve the greatest shocker of their lives, and what that shocker would be I dont know. #EkitiDecide
